Shot of the Day: A Glimpse Inside India’s Drug Subculture
A former IT manager was inspired to take intimate portraits of life in New Dehli after witnessing the city's rising drug problem.
Photographer Enrico Fabian began his career as an IT systems manager before dropping everything to move to New Dehli with his girlfriend. While in New Dehli he took up photography and began documenting the massive amount of drugs and addiction he encountered on a daily basis. This shot captures a young girl searching through a cupboard while her father’s friend, Pakori, injects heroin.
