Journalist Sally Chew asks the question “Should We Give Medical Pot To Our Pets?” in her new piece for Substance.com. She explains that while there are currently no studies proving the efficacy of pot for pets and it is not yet legal for veterinarians to prescribe, some pet owners have seen a vast improvement in specific symptoms and general quality of life after they have given medical marijuana to a seriously ill pet. But veterinarians are divided over whether or not cannabis should be a treatment option.
