Alcohol poisoning kills six Americans every day, according to a recent report by the CDC. That number is much higher than previously thought. Scary stuff. But who is most likely to die from drinking? According to these graphics (below), middle-aged, white men are at the highest risk, by far. Of those who die from alcohol poisoning, 76% are men, 68% are white, and 34% are aged 45-54. Geography is also a factor. Mid-western states like Colorado, Arizona and Utah have higher rates of alcohol fatalities, as well as Massachusetts, Oregon and Minnesota. Get the full breakdown below:
