Shot of the Day: When a Fashion Photographer Shoots Everything but the Clothes
Off the runway at Paris Fashion Week there is no shortage of booze, drugs and parties.
Walter Pearce, 19, is a New York-based fashion photographer and model who frequents the world’s most famous high-fashion events. And yet he rarely takes a picture of the clothes on the runway. The young and still relatively unknown photographer has spent the last year documenting off-runway spectacles from fashion week events—including plenty of booze, drugs and partying—for Vice. At Paris Fashion Week Spring 2014, for example, he focused his lens on details like broken ceilings, dirty socks and this non-model drinking a glass of white wine.
